To the children of the modern age and beyond
By Alan Baylis
Who are the blind and why is God so angry with them? The blind adorn
themselves in jewels of great value and clothe themselves with the most
expensive clothing for the sole purpose of creating the illusion that they are
better than others. They are blind to the fact that if jewels or metal have no
practical use then they have no value, and clothing is only there to stop men
from creating the illusion that they should be elected to power according to
the size of their genitalia. The blind also believe that the goal in life is
to accumulate the biggest stockpile of money and will ignore the starving and
maimed of the world to do it.
The blind do not see that if they focused their attention away from the
subject of money and towards learning, that the accumulated information they
would possess would make they themselves an asset to others and not their
possessions. They do not see the distinction between learning subjects that
can be applied to help people and subjects that only stimulate the senses and
pass the time. The blind believe that only subjects that will extend their
wealth are important and because the blind cater to the blind they teach,
learn and produce fiction for profit that has no bearing on reality unless it
is to distort it.
The three major needs of people are food, clothing and shelter and ultimately
the appearance and worth of these necessities is irrelevant. So the blind do
not see that they could have all their needs amply met and still be in a
position to be charitable, at which point I am sure they would be respected
and loved for their personality alone. In their haste to amass their stockpile
of money they make the gravest mistakes and perpetually lie, cheat and steal,
as well as convincing others to do the same, and it is for these reasons and
more that God is angry with them. Unless they realize that all people are
created equal and that an equal share for each person is the only fair
solution to our limited resources, they will reach a situation in which one
person or one corporation will own all the wealth of this planet. At present
there are no laws which might prevent this or even plans to introduce a
maximum upper limit. In lieu of true equity I would have thought, both
logically and morally, that laws such as these were imperative to a cohesive
society and world.
