These tutorials focus mainly on OpenGL, Win32 programming and the ODE physics engine. OpenGL has moved on to great heights and I don't cover the newest features but cover all of the basic concepts you will need with working example programs.
Working with the Win32 API is a great way to get to the heart of Windows and is just as relevant today as ever before. Whereas ODE has been marginalized as hardware accelerated physics becomes more common.
Games and graphics utilities can be made quickly and easily using game engines like Unity so this and Linux development in general will be the focus of my next tutorials.

How had he made it this far? Getting past the mind scan in the lobby had taken weeks of training, practicing keeping his mind focused on a simple train of thought. Of course he knew what he was going to be thinking as he entered his apartment block, it was a memory from his school days, about when he was talking dirty in front of some girls he liked, enjoying the giggles and blushes that always followed. They would be expecting something like that. It had to be something he might try to conceal, but nothing illegal.
As he walked down the corridor to his apartment he tried to act casual, ignoring the overhead cameras as he passed under them. Submitting to every biometric scan along the way without hesitation. Following the same pattern of behavior he had rehearsed for just this day. As he drew his keycard from his wallet his hands fumbled a little too much, or perhaps he was being overly critical; surely the image processing software couldn't spot such a slight deviation in character. With a wave of the card the door to his apartment slid not so quietly open and he stepped through. When it shut behind him he casually went to the nearest armchair and slouched into it, feigning a tired expression for the spying nanobots hiding around the apartment. State law prohibited spybots but everyone knew that the state both wrote the law and was simultaneously above the law, so it was wise to take every precaution. Slowly he put his hand into his pocket and could feel the small bag of nanobots he had brought this morning, which just looked like a coarse powder to the naked eye. It wasn't unheard of to be ripped off, but if his friends contact was reliable then he now had a mixed bag of the latest nanobots available. They should be able take out the optical, audio and sniffer spybots, provided they weren't being protected by a newer version of defenders. He then continued with the daily routine, waiting for nightfall. Only at night would he be able to tell whether the spybots could been overwhelmed, but he had patience. It had taken so much work preparing for this day that he wasn't about to rush things now.
When night finally came he made his way to the bedroom and secretively sprinkled some of the nanobots around the floor before turning out the light. After a while his eyes adjusted to the darkness and he could just make out the faint telltale flashes of light emitted by the nanobots whenever they defeated an opponent. All around the room the lights sparkled, far more than he would ever have guessed, but eventually the number of lights dwindled until there were none. Only then did he turn on the light and begin to tape up the door. When he was satisfied that the door was sealed practically airtight he began to tape up the air vents. He could only hope that an old building such as this didn't have airflow monitors installed, but he knew that they would be testing the air so it was vital that the seal was perfect.
After the seals were in place he decided to turn off the light once more and have a look for any nanobot activity. After all, he didn't want to spend the next twenty years in prison making brand name sports shoes, and all it would take to put him there would be a single remaining spybot. Fortunately there were no flashing lights at all so he turned the bedroom light back on and took a small airtight box down from a shelf. With his hands shaking from a combination of nerves and excitement he opened the box and took out a cigarette from inside. He had never seen one before, they had been criminalized in the early part of the 21st century, shortly after it was discovered that nicotine was the worlds strongest memory drug. He could only guess that the authorities believed an ignorant population was easier to control than an enlightened one, and had acted to deprive the people of anything that might aid their thought processes. Taking a seat, he put the cigarette to his lips and lit it, taking his first puff of smoke. He immediately coughed and was light-headed for a time but after a while he started to relax and got used to the sensation. He also started to think..., strange thoughts, like how could Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung have become the worlds most important psychologists while being drug users? Was Napoleon a great leader or a ruthless war criminal? And then he wondered what it might have been like to live in the past, when it was possible to be, well..., unknown.
